Miku Hatsune by knighthead Miku Hatsune by knighthead
Colored version of [link] . I tried to embrace the doodly nature I had when I sketched it.

I like the thigh now that it's colored >_>
But her skirt looks flat.

I still feel like you work longer on her face then you work on any other thing lol
It just looks better, more finished.

Are you serious? The face is like three brush strokes. I barely do anything to the face. <_<

I don't believe you for one second. And also I'd like to say that I like her belt...thingy

Did you see the sketch? I drew a flour sack first and then added the appendages, the head being the last. This is just blocks of opaque color over that scanned sketch.

Idk how the whole flour sack thing works but I believe you. I just think that you've always spent more time on the face then everything else that you've become better at that then the rest of it. You're faces have always (maybe not always... but close to I think) been better then the rest of a drawing. Like I can point out little details there that aren't detailed enough to point out elsewhere. You're faces are always crisper like in that other one I commented on. It seems you do the face and start to do the rest and then get bored lol. I think what it is is that colors are sketchy. I think lines are alright to be sketchy as long as they all are, but colors shouldn't be. I think they blend better on the face of your characters

Every time I see you say stuff like that I spend less and less time on the face. I mean, I've drawn the face so much that it doesn't need to have any time spent on it at all, it's just a second-nature write-off. Well, I'm about to draw Cammy after playing Super Street Fighter IV for a few hours with my roommate. She's SO AWESOME. I'll try to work on that whole rendering part.
